I drove down to John T. Myers Dam in Union Co. today and then came  
back by the Sloughs doing a just short time birding .

Above the dam:

Pied-billed Grebes: 15
Canada-geese: 18 in fly over
Canvasback: 10
Hooded Merganser: 6
Red-shouldered hawk: 1
Am. Coots: 2
Ring-billed gulls: 100
Bonaparte's gulls: 10
Rock Doves: 25
Com. Crows
Am. Pipit 1


I stopped at several places along 268 by the Sloughs in Henderson Co.
Anderson Pond is frozen over: no sightings
between 2nd observation tower and 3rd tower:

Tundra Swans: 25 south of the road
Mallards
Canada Geese
Belted Kingfisher

Charlie
Henderson Co.
