Highlights from the past few days at Barren Reservoir
and Warren County:

Nov 29

I was standing on the front porch watching an
approaching thunderstorm when a Ross's Goose and a
Greater White-fronted Goose flew over the house
together.  


Nov 30  Warren/Woodburn Area

Larks and longspurs migrating with 70+ Lapland
Longspurs seen including 2 flocks of approximately 30
each.


Dec 5  Barren Reservoir

Ducks:
Black
Mallard
Pintail
Wigeon
Redhead
Gr Scaup 3
L Scaup
Bufflehead 30
H Merganser
RB Merganser 103  Mark was very close in his estimate
Ruddy

C Loon 20+
H Grebe 73
Dunlin 5 near Walnut Creek
Herring Gull juv at dam

Purple Finch  female at feeder at my house in Warren
