All,
Many of you are aware I'm sure, of the Ruddy Ground-Dove being seen in 
northwest MS the last week. Jeff Wilson and I made a trip to Bolivar Co., MS 
Sunday for this bird, and had great looks at less than 40 feet of this stunning 
bird. I've posted some photos on my website of this most special visitor to our 
part of the Country. Jeff also has several shots posted in his galleries, from 
several photographers, including the original shots documenting the bird by Don 
McKee. 

In addition to the Ground-Dove, I have posted some shots from the Reelfoot area 
last weekend, principally from the CBC. These shots include some of Geese 
(primarily Ross's), Sandhill Cranes in MS, a neat Western Red-tailed Hawk, and 
Vesper Sparrows from the CBC, always nice that far north in winter.
