I spent some time looking at a few places on the lake and a couple of ponds 
today.

Surf Scoter 1 pretty adult male (Waitsboro, Lake Cumberland)
Hooded Mergansers 55 (Clifty Pond 40, Waitsboro 15)
Bufflehead 13 (Lake Cumberland)
Northern Shoveler 2 (Lake Cumberland)
Pied-billed Grebe only 3 (Lake Cumberland)
Horned Grebe 5 (Conley Bottom, Lake Cumberland)
Common Loon 4 (Lake Cumberland)
Double-crested Cormorants 3 (Lake Cumberland)
Greater White-fronted Goose 1 (Conley Bottom)
Canada Goose 100+
Lesser Scaup 2 (Thurston's Pond)
Ring-necked Duck 27 (Thurston's Pond)
Rusty Blackbird 1 female (Cooley's Pond)
Sandhill Cranes 49 (Conley Bottom)
Small numbers of Bonaparte's and Ring-billed Gulls scattered about the lake
