Just a reminder that Steve and Barbara Stedman's new book on the birds of the 
South Fork and Obed areas can be ordered directly from the Stedman's. I have 
found it to be an invaluable reference. This work contains an extremely 
thorough compilation of records along with very informative species accounts; 

Kentucky birders will be interested to know that a new book on the Birds of 
the Big South Fork is now available. Steve and Barbara Stedman's NOTES ON THE 
BIRDS OF THE BIG SOUTH FORK NRRA AND OBED NWSRA is a welcome addition to the 
libraries of those interested in the birds of the Cumberland Plateau.  
Besides detailed species accounts, valuable information on where to find 
birds within the Big South Fork and Obed areas is also included. 

Copies can be ordered directly from the Stedman's at 2675 Lakeland Drive, 
Cookeville, TN 38506. The purchase price is $17, which includes postage.
