[birdky] pine siskin and feeder trouble

Today I have a pine siskin at my feeders. Only the second time ever for this
species in our yard. No purple finches yet. House finch and goldfinch
numbers are up today as it is much cooler. Also today the boys and I buried a
dead snag in the ground, bored several holes in it, and packed it full of home
made suet. The only thing it has attracted so far is our beagle. He has eaten
everything he can lick out ot the holes and is now chewing on the wood and
trying to dig the entire snag out of the ground to get to the top. I don't
think this is going to work out as planned. LOL.

Good birding
