[birdky] Minor Clark and Cave Run ducks

     A friend ( Mickey Greene), and I had a good evening at Minor Clark and 
Cave Run. 10 species of ducks were seen, including a life bird for me.Birds 
seen were; Mallard, Hooded Merganser,Black Duck, Bufflehead, Ringedneck,Green 
Winged teal,Gadwall,Am. Wedgeon,Lessor Scaup,and my life bird  Old Squaw or now 
known as Long tailed Duck. Other birds were: Horned Greebe, Pied Billed Greebe, 
Canada Goose,Great Blue Heron and Coots. There was also a real nice Red 
Shouldered Hawk sitting on the fence.       Mike Wright   Morehead, Ky.
