[birdky] Unidentified Birds

As I was driving across our Green River bottomlands around noon today I saw seven robin-sized birds with fairly long tails, sittiing on and hawking from a power line. I had my binoculars with me but the birds were too distant and my eyesight too poor to get a good look. I was able to see that the birds had distinctly rosy breasts. The backs, heads, wings and tails were dark brown and white striped. I could not see the beak size nor any head details except there did not appear to be any red or rose about the heads. The birds were not chubby enough to be robins and I would have recognized robins by their behavior. Please help.
