Mycoplasmal conjunctivitis has been common primarily in House Finches
for a little over a decade now in eastern North America. There are
several websites (such as
http://www.birds.cornell.edu/hofi/abtdisease.html ) that offer
explanations and tips regarding the disease and what you can do if you
see it at your feeders. Hope this helps.
