The Saw-whet flight has definitely slowed down considerably, but I was
still able to catch 4 more last night bringing the season total to 90.
Among them was a very cool looking leucistic female saw-whet. Its
overall color was very much reduced, giving it a blond overall
appearance and its talons and beak were considerably paler than normal
as well. Brainard took several pictures of it while I was holding it
and hopefully they'll turn out.
