Went to the Falls this morning hoping to put a positive id on a pos. California
Gull, but to no avail. The flock of Ring-bills had receded since yesterday to
about 30+ birds. No ducks on river. I thought however I should report a
single Dunlin feeding with Killdeer and a flyover American Pipit(man I never
hear Horned Larks or pipits as consistently as I have this year.) Also I had a
beautiful adult Red-shouldered Hawk sitting in a tree right over me when I
arrived(still one of my favorite hawks.)

Good Birding,
Michael Autin
