The Red-necked Grebe was still present at Waitsboro; there were more heads to
go through before I found it this morning.
Surf Scoter 2
Black Scoter 1
Horned Grebe 61
Common Loon (They were scattered today; I could only find 15 at once. There
were 35 there late yesterday evening.)
Double-crested Cormorant 21
Lesser Scaup 3
Ring-necked duck 1
Bufflehead 14
Ruddy Duck 10
Red-breasted Merganser 5
Bald Eagle 1 imm.
Bonaparte's Gull 65
Several rafts of American Coots

Russell County, Lake Cumberland
A late Wood-Pewee (It didn't call). It was furiously feeding along the trout
stream at the Kendall Recreation Area.
Common loon 50
Horned Grebe 95
Bufflehead
Green-winged Teal
American Coots and some distant rafts of waterfowl too far out for me to ID.

Birding smiles . . . . .
