Rhonda and I checked out the reservoirs of Saturday, finding 4 Bonaparte
Gulls, 21 Ruddy Duck, and 30 or so Hooded Mergansers. We also saw an
American White Pelican flying over. Its low altitude and climbing flight
would indicate that it had likely been on the ground, but I don't know
for sure. It disappeared to the south.
On the way back from Raven's Run Sunday we saw a male Northern Harrier.
