[birdky] Minor Clark Fish Hatchery

I was talking with Steve Bonney, KDF&WR biologist this morning and he told me
the Minor Clark Fish Hatchery will be closed until noon on weekends for youth
waterfowl hunts for the following dates:
Dec 31 and Jan 1
January 7 & 8
January 21 & 22
January 28 & 29
I know many of you enjoy birding at the hatchery and this will save you a
trip, as the hatchery will be closed to the public.
Also, just to let the East KY folks know, I will be chair of the Eastern KY
Bird Club for awhile as Gerald Robe is working in Los Angles until April. If
anyone is interested in joining me for some outing, please let me know. I want
to start having some outing. Of course anyone that wants to be a part of this
group, the price is right...more information will follow.
