I first hit the remaining open part of the Sloughs near the hdqtrs.  
Then a pass by Horseshoe Rd. On to Grassy Pond/Powell's Lake Unit.  
Next checked out Uniontown Dam.
I attempted a visit to Jenny Hole/Highland Creek Unit but backwaters  
from the Ohio River prevented access.

Horseshoe Road slough has some water again, but no birds seen from  
the road.

Highlights:

Pied-billed Grebes, Uniontown Dam: 6-10
Double-crested Cormorants, Uniontown Dam: 15 to 20
Great-blue Heron, perched in a tree near Sloughs hdqtrs
Canada Goose
Mallards
Green-winged Teal
Am. Widgeon
Shoveler
Ring-necked Duck, 4 at Uniontown Dam
Am. Coots
Wilson's Snipe, 50 to 60 near Sloughs hdqtrs
Ring-billed Gull, 400 to 500 above Uniontown Dam
Bonaparte's Gull 100 above Uniontown Dam
Pileated Woodpecker, 2 at Grassy Pond/Powell's Lake unit
Purple Finch, 5 at Grassy Pond/Powell's Lake Unit
