I'll second David's sentiments. My wife and I found the bird easily about 4 pm on Moday afternoon. It was resting on the water directly across from the boat rental dock when we arrived. It flew for a good portion of the hour that we watched, several times coming directly overhead at a low height. I would recommend anyone searching for the bird to go to one of the two docks and wait.
I'll add horned grebe and ring-necked duck to Dave's list, although we didn't see the wood ducks or loon.
Good birding,
Steve Kistler

Subject: [birdky] Pomarine Jaeger Update

Hello,
I observed the Pomarine Jaeger at Elizabethtown Monday
morning between 10:30 and 11:30 CST. The bird is #271
on my life list. The Jaeger alternated between resting
on the lake and cirlcling above it. I had excellent
looks at the bird. I urge anyone who has not seen it
to make a run for it. It is not very often that one
can observe a jaeger at such close range. Other
species observed include:

                         Mallard
                         Gadwall
                         Wood Duck
                         Canada Goose
                         American Coot
                         Pied-billed Grebe
                         Common Loon
                         Bonaparte's Gull
                         Turkey Vulture
