I'll second David's sentiments. My wife and I found the bird easily about 4 
pm on Moday afternoon. It was resting on the water directly across from the 
boat rental dock when we arrived. It flew for a good portion of the hour 
that we watched, several times coming directly overhead at a low height. I 
would recommend anyone searching for the bird to go to one of the two docks 
and wait.
I'll add horned grebe and ring-necked duck to Dave's list, although we 
didn't see the wood ducks or loon.
