I decided to brave the winds for awhile this morning and check some of the fields off Chamberlain Ln. I found 2 Brewer's Blackbirds along with some American Pipits in the sod farm area off Schuler which is off of Chamberlain Ln. Last nights storm resulted in some standing water in the sod farm and this is where I found the birds.
There were also Horned Larks in the harvested soy bean field along Chamberlain Ln.
Common Loon, Red-throated Loon, and Bonaparte's gulls still present on the river near Cox's park.
