[birdky] brief local mundane report

16 November 2004:
I spent a few minutes of my lunch hour scoping Lake Herndon (Boy Scout Lake)
just north of Russellville for possible waterfowl.
The only birds observed were:
4 Pied-billed Grebes, including 1 acting like a submarine,
1 Great Blue Heron, &
2 American Crows playing noisily on a sand spit in the far tail water.
That concludes this report.
