Adding to the growing list of Pine Siskin sightings this fall, I observed
seven today at our feeders. We had a freeze last night and killed many of
the flowers, but I still observed two Gulf Fritillary butterflies today on
the lantana plants. I believe they might be locally hatched from my
passionflower vines. After working seven straight days, it was a good day
to be off!
