McElroy Lake in Warren County:  (ditch and a few large
puddles)

Dunlin  19
Lapland Longspur

Barren Reservoir:

550 gulls in the roost at dark with approximately half
each Bonaparte's and Ring-billed.  A small raft of
waterfowl including Greater Scaup and Redhead.

NORTHERN SAW-WHET OWL
Peninsula Unit of Barren River WMA in Barren County.

Answered tape with a descending "skeeew" contact call
at 720pm cst after 2 hours of taping. 

13 November 2002

Fulton County:

Several Red-tailed Hawks of the calurus race including
2 dark-morph.  A light-morph harlani in the same area
that I videotaped one last winter which appeared to be
the same bird.

A few Lapland Longspurs
Bald Eagle
White Pelican  150+ in thermal

Lake 9 area:

Canada, Snow, and Gr. White-fronted Geese
N. Shoveler  150+
Dunlin 5
Greater Yellowlegs 7 
LONG-BILLED DOWITCHER  1 juvenile

Barkley above dam:

Lesser Black-backed Gull  adult
White Pelican  75
few thousand divers including Gr.Scaup and Goldeneye

Kentucky Lake:

RED-NECKED GREBE  adult above dam  videotaped
Common Loon  50+
Horned Grebe 100+
Laughing Gull  1st yr.  below dam
