The high winds kept herons, gulls, terns and shorebirds on the mud flats
today. There are still approximately 200 Forster's Terns at Jonathan Creek
along with good numbers of Dunlin, Least Sandpipers and gulls.
Blood River offered a retreat for hundreds of Bonaparte's gulls and Great
Blue Herons. Other birds of interest were American Pipit and Bald Eagle.
