The grebe was still present this morning. It's still
best seen from the end of Waitsboro Road and is
usually hanging out pretty much straight across the
lake from the end of the boat ramp. It was staying
fairly close to the bank this morning and sleeping a
lot. It sleeps with its head resting on its back and
could easily be mistaken for white trash on the lake,
from a distance. It's often in the company of Horned
Grebes, but was hanging with an Am. Black Duck this
morning.
