[birdky] Whooping Crane Progress

November 8, 2002:
It anyone interested, the Whooping Cranes involved in assisted migration
from Wisconsin to Florida are now in 2 groups. One group is just east of
Indianapolis and another is between Bloomington and Indianapolis. They will
certainly move into or across KY during the next few days of migration.
They are not flying far at a time. Yesterday, one group flew about 35 miles
and another group flew about 55 miles.
