McElroy Lake in Warren County now consists of only a
few puddles, but still continues to attract a small
number of shorebirds.  Present on the morning of 7
November were approximately 20 Dunlin and a Pectoral
Sandpiper.  A few snipe were also observed.  A single
Lapland Longspur was associating with the many pipits
and larks.

Present at Barren Reservoir yesterday afternoon in the
Walnut Creek area were a Common Loon and approximately
200 Bonaparte's and 50 Ring-billed Gulls.  A flock of
60 Dunlin dropped in to the mud flats which are now
being exposed due to the winter draw-down.

A raft of 43 Ring-necks and Lesser Scaup was observed
in the Mason's Island area, and a single Pine Siskin
was present at Sawyer's Landing.
