I spent the morning and early afternoon birding areas around Barren River
Lake, in Allen and Barren Co.
The highlights included:
Common Loon (49) in two different groups, Bailey's Point
Horned Grebe (18) in two different groups, Bailey's Point
Lesser Scaup (26)
Winter Wren (1) area below the dam
Orange-crowned Warbler (1) area below the dam
Indigo Bunting (1) the Peninsula area (Sawyer's Landing)
