McElroy Lake has disappeared except for two or three
very small swampy areas. However, shorebirds continue
to linger. Seen on Saturday were the follwing species.
Dunlin 75plus some still with partial breeding plumage
Lesser yellowlegs
Least sandpiper
Wilson's snipe 18
American Golden Plover
