[birdky] Red-Breasted Nuthatch

This morning we saw our first red-breasted nuthatch at our bird bath.
I'd been hoping to see one for the past several weeks. We only saw
this one because both Carroll and I happened to be watching the bird
bath at the moment the bird appeared. It grabbed a couple quick sips
of water and was gone in seconds. We kept watching and it reappeared
about half an hour later. This time we got a better look and could
see it was a male. Also, two hummers visited our feeders this a.m.,
one at a time. Both were female ruby throated but we think they were
two different birds. One was smaller and had different feather
arrangement. Each came only once and did not linger.
