[birdky] Jonathan Creek and Blood River

Barry Hart and I surveyed the mud flats Friday. Saturday evening Melissa
and I scoped Jonathan Creek. Sunday I spent time at both locations and
checked
the islands on Lake Barkley.
Highlights were:
Pesky Peregrine Falcons at both spots - they keep scaring the shorebirds
before I can go through them.
Blue-winged teal - JC & BR
Northern Pintail - 1 @ JC
Wild Turkey - BR
American White Pelican - 100+ Barkley
DC Cormorant - all locations
Great Egret - everywhere
Snowy Egret - 3 @ JC
Bald Eagle - JC & BR (1 imm & 2 Adult at BR)
American golden Plover - 1 @ BR
Semipalmated Plover - BR
Killdeer - everywhere
Lesser Yellowlegs - 29 @ BR
Spotted Sandpiper - JC & BR
Semipalmated Sandpiper - JC & BR
Least Sandpiper - over 100 at JC & BR
Pectoral Sandpiper - JC & BR
Dowitcher Sp - 3 -JC
Long-billed Dowitcher - 1 BR
Caspian Tern - Barkley
Red-breasted Nuthatch in my yard in Murray.........a first.
