Nineteen observers recorded at least 83 species today
at the Sloughs WMA in Henderson County.  Highlights
are as follows:

American Bittern (3)
Bald Eagle (4 adults)
Peregrine Falcon 
Virginia Rail (6+)
Sora (40+)
Stilt Sandpiper (2)
Long-billed Dowitcher (3)
Sedge Wren (6+)
Marsh Wren (30+)
Henslow's Sparrow
Nelson's Sharp-tailed Sparrow
Dickcissel
Bobolink

it a great trip.
