Very quiet at first--no singing, no movement, when I first got there. Then--boom--a lot of activity on the far side of the house adjacent to the parking lot, in that bushy/woodsy area btw the house and creek. I spent all my time there, 75 minutes, until the rain.
Most of the birds I saw: Nashville w, Blackburnian w, Magnolia w, Yellow-Rumped w, Pine w, Black-Throated Green w, White-Eyed v, Yellow-Throated v, Red-Eyed v, downy, flicker, pair of yellow-bellied saps, red-bellied, catbird, mocker, house finch, wb nut, chicks, t-mice, field sparrow--plus other common ones. I didn't see an orange-crowned, but it's the kind of habitat where I hope to see it.
