I walked the Cathy Crocket Memorial Trail in southern Pulaski County this morning. Warblers are 
getting tough to find, but some good ones are still around.

Highlights:
Blue-headed Vireo
Tennessee Warbler
Black-throated Blue Warbler- female (This one really gave me warbler neck! It was foraging in some 
cedar trees, which made it very difficult to get a solid ID. I must have spent 15 minutes looking up 
waiting for it to give me a clear look. It finally flew out on a limb in the sunlight and showed its 
white patch at the base of the primaries. It was having a feast on flying insects.)
Yellow-rumped Warblers (everywhere)
Pine Warbler
Blackpoll Warbler 1 (another late warbler) When I first saw it I figured Bay-breasted, but its 
plumage insisted it was a Blackpoll. I didn't argue.)
Swamp Sparrow (I'm seeing them in almost every sparrow spot. They're not too picky about what they 
consider a swamp.)

Clifty Pond: The Savannah Sparrow numbers are climbing and 1 Grasshopper Sparrow is still hanging 
around.
