After seeing the FOS birds yesterday around the watery areas I  
thought I'd check some wooded areas today (10/2).
But no such birding today.
I found the most common birds in the woods were Blue Jays, N.  
Flickers, and Robins.
So today in the woods I saw more Robins then anywhere else in past  
month.

6:30am, 68º, mostly cloudy, a little light rain for a few minutes,  
later partly cloudy.

N. Flicker
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Downy Woodpecker
Blue Jay
Com. Crow
Tufted Titmouse
Carolina Chickadee
White-breasted Nuthatch
House Wren
Carolina Wren
Catbird
Robin
Starling
Red-winged Blackbird
Com. Grackle
Cardinal
Am. Goldfinch
Rufous-sided Towhee

Really a disappointing day, but better than a poke in the eye with  
sharp stick.
