[birdky] BKY: House Finch virus

Regarding Joan Carr's post on House Finch virus it is certainly in my back
yard. I see at least once a month a finch that bobbles and misses the
feeders, and with binos it is easy to see their eye infections. Also
observed a female House Finch at Jonathan Creek with the same symptoms
about a month ago unable to fly out of the way of traffic. Interestingly,
the Goldfinch that feed at the my feeder and bird bath as the House Finch
have not contracted the disease. I clean both feeders periodically with
bleach.
