[birdky] LBL Oct. 10 observations

Lesser black-backed gull. 1 adult on roof with other gulls at Ky. Dam
Marina. 1 adult at Kuttawa.
Barred owl that had just caught a mole. Ky. Lake scenic drive.
Nice spot of activity just off Ky. Lake scenic drive. In 15-minute period
saw: B&W, black-throated green, bay-breasted, and magnolia warblers, along
with white-eyed vireo, e. wood-pewee, both kinglets, brown creeper, indigo
bunting, and Lincoln's sparrow.
Double-crested cormorant. An estimated 530 standing crammed together on a
sandbar just above Barkley Dam . (Seen from Green Turtle Bay overlook.)
