I've noticed in the past several weeks that the Moorhens are becoming
very shy. I used to be able to walk right within 20 feet of them. They
would be very aware of me but simply move about at the edge of the
lilys. Now as soon as they spot me from 100 feet away they quickly
disappear deep into the lilys. So I have to check them out from a good
distance.
My hummingbirds stopped using the feeder last week. But I did see one
today checking out my red climbing roses! First time I seen that all
summer.
Also had a Rose-breasted Grosbeak in my backyard today.
