This morning during our 2 ½ mile walk along Tug Fork of Big Sandy, we
saw hundreds of CHIMNEY SWIFTS swirling around in the early morning
mist. One large GREAT VLUE HERON flew up and down the river looking for
breakfast, while another one roosted in a dead tree overhanging the
water. We also saw a couple of RUBY-CROWNED KINGLETS BUZZING AROUND.

Cheers,
Joan Carr, S. Williamson, KY Pike Co.
