Roseanna Denton and I spent the day birding in the Peabody Wildlife 
Management Area Sunday.    
Highlights are listed below:
Black-crowned night heron -3
Wood Duck-2
Northern Harrier-3
Least Sandpiper -32
Dunlin-5
Tree Swallows - 10
Brown creeper-1
Sedge Wren -1 
BELL'S VIREO -1 heard only
Vesper Sparrow -2
NELSON'S SHARP-TAILED SPARROW -1
The Bell's Vireo called only once.  We both heard it and identified it 
immediately.  We tried to locate the bird but we never successful in locating 
it.  
The sedge wren and Nelson's Sharp-tailed sparrow were both in the march at the 
end of S5.
