There was a push of shorebirds overnight and the numbers today were
interesting.
American Golden-Plover -2/BR
Greater Yellowlegs 13/JC and 32/BR* this group was impressive.
Lesser Yellowlegs 14/JC and 45/BR
Western Sandpiper a handful at both locations
Least Sandpipers 200/JC and 150/BR
Pectoral Sandpiper 12/JC and 8/BR
Dunlin 6/JC and 18/BR
Stilt Sandpiper 4/BR
Dowitcher sp. 2/JC and 6/BR
Wilson's snipe 1/JC and 1/BR
Forster's Tern 65/JC
American Pipit 8/JC and 2/BR
Also seen today, 1 Adult Bald Eagle, Sharp-shinned hawk chasing Tennessee,
Black-throated Green, Magnolia Warbler and finally settling for a Titmouse.
Savannah and song sparrows were also plentiful on the mud flats.
