Highlights from a Northern Ky Bird Club field trip to Big Bone Lick State
Park on October 5, 2002:
Six species of woodpeckers including 1 Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
Eastern Phoebe
Gray Catbird
White-eyed Vireo (4)
Yellow-throated Viroe (1)
Tennessee Warbler (6), Magnolia Warbler (2), Yellow-rumped Warbler (8),
Black-throated Green Warbler (1), Palm Warbler (2), Black-and-white Warbler
(2), Common Yellowthroat (2)
Lincoln' Sparrow (2)
Swamp Sparrow (1)
Additional sightings from western Boone Co. on October 5:
Sora 1 at Central Park
Common Moorhen 1 at Aurora Ferry Road pond near Petersburg
Ovenbird 1 at Middle Creek Park
