Jim Williams led an enjoyable ASK trip Saturday morning to Minor Clark Fish Hatchery. We managed 7 species of shorbird:
killdeer, semipalmated plover, sanderling, pectoral sandpiper, baird's sandpiper, least sand, and stilt.
Especially good to study the stilt and baird's in relation to the others in good close views. We saw some nice migrants as well--fine looks at osprey and red-shouldered hawks. Around 40 species in all.
