I saw 2 Whip-or-wills on my road last evening. I had not seen or heard any for
sometime. Earlier in the evening while traveling KY 986 just outside Olive
Hill, I saw a Great Blue Heron in Tygart's Creek. I've traveled that road for
years and its very uncommon to see herons in that stretch of Tygart's.
