For the first time in awhile I had the chance to do a whole day of birding, as at my job I get the day after holidays off. I decided to find my way to the Falls of the Ohio where I birded from 10:00- 5:00 pm. Even with all this time I still had problems finding peeps that would sit still, or weren't obscured by heat waves to identify. The list:

Canada Goose-60+
Mallard-many
Blue-wg. Teal- about 18 scattered
Double-cr. Cormorant-150+
Great Blue Heron-17
Great Egret- 15+
Black-cr. Night-Heron- 60+
Black Vulture-30
Turkey Vulture-10
Cooper's Hawk- 1 dive-bombing Killdeer
Peregrine Falcon- 1 looked like it was drinking but may have been fishing
Killdeer- everywhere
Spotted Sandpiper-2
Pectoral Sandpiper-1
Buff-breasted Sandpiper- at least 2- possibly more never more than two at once but seemed to wander widely.(personal note I haven't seen one in 8 years, this was wonderful for me!)
peeps-
one bird I got a decent but not definite looks at I liked for Baird's. size, legs, proportions, and wings seemed to extend well beyond tail another seemed to have light legs and was small that I liked for a Least but light made it difficult to be sure

no possible Western Sand.
Ring-bl. Gull-10
Rock Dove
Mourning Dove
Chimney Swift- 1 no swallows
Belted Kingfisher-1
Downy Wood.
Eastern Kingbird-2
Warbling Vireo- 3, 2 still singing
Carolina Chickadee
Carolina Wren
House Wren
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher-1
American Robin-1 how odd
No. Mockingbird
Gray Catbird- oddly enough only 1
Cedar Waxwing-1
Tennessee Warbler-1
Magnolia Warbler-1 only migrants found but heard lot of activity that I ignored while scanning peeps
Song Sp.
No. Cardinal
Indigo Bunting
Red-wg. Blackbird-6+
House Finch- "flock" of probably 20 birds
