[birdky] BKY: Birding at home

Sitting out on the patio this morning we spied several species of migrants
in our yard -- Tennessee, Magnolia warblers and Redstarts along with red-eyed
vireos. We decided we had better head for our wilderness area behind our home.
There we would locate along with the previously mentioned birds Cape May
warbler, Wilson's warbler, house wrens, hummingbirds, and a yellow-bellied
flycatcher.

On a previous visit to our woods we had found two screech owls roosting high
up in the honeysuckle bushes, but no luck today. We did hear our resident
great horned owl hooting close by.

Enjoy migration,
Pat Bell
