  Perhaps one of you may know the answer to my questions about this
book. I've done a Google search, and the first editions that others have
for sale mention things like "first state", "second state", etc., and
I'm wondering how one would go about determining whether or not their
copy was indeed a first edition (if it simply says "copyright 1934" but
without the words "first edition", could it be in fact a later
edition?), along with any other info about determining if the book is
just a really great find, or is also a very valuable great find!
