Went to the fish hatchery this afternoon with Mickey Greene. At first we
thought it was fairly dead then we found some birds; 4 semi-Plover, several
Least and semi- sandpipers, 1 pectoral and 3 Solitary sandpipers, and 1 White
rumped Sandpiper. Then we saw about 6 Black Terns and several Common Terns. Of
course there was the usual stuff,Green and Great Blue Herons and the 4 Great
Egrets. We saw 1 coot also. Mike Wright Morehead, Ky.
