It was a beautiful day for birding. Early this morning we birded in the
woods behind our home and the highlights were -
House Wren
Swainson's Thrush
Red-eyed Vireo
Catbird
Indigo Bunting
Gray Catbird
Wilson's Warbler
Redstarts
Canada Warbler
Black-throated Green Warblers

After lunch we headed for Tom Sawyer State Park and were surprised at the
number of birds we saw there. Again highlights were -
Chipping Sparrows
Gray Catbirds
Red-eyed Vireo
Indigo Buntings
 Warblers-
Parula
Chestnut-sided
Magnolia
Prairie
Black-and-white
Redstart
Ovenbird
Wilson's

Hummingbirds are still present in numbers at both locations.
