I thought yesterday would be a good day to visit the fish hatchery since
they had started draining some of the ponds.   To my disappointment, all I
found in the way of shorebirds were one Lesser Yellowlegs and one Killdeer.
Then I met another birder from the area (I've forgotten the name...old age I
guess) who told me that a Peregrine Falcon had appeared and since then there
had been no shorebirds.   I did get some images of the Falcon and noted two
bands....a purple band on the right leg and a green one on the left.  I
don't if anyone here keeps track of them but I thought I would mention it.

Cedar Waxwings (many)
Green Heron (many)
Great Egret (many)
Great Blue Herons (many)
Little Blue Heron (immature - 2 but was told there had been 3 in the past)
Wood Ducks (3)
Mallards and Canada Geese (many)
Red-shouldered Hawk (also keeping a watchful eye on all the ponds)
Kestrel (1) 
Belted Kingfishers (4-5)
Lesser Yellowlegs (1)
Killdeer (1)
Cormorants (2)
Osprey (1)
Swallows

As in the past, I've posted some images from the fish hatchery and will
continue to add to it whenever I get back down there.  I do have a couple
images of the Peregrine Falcon and one of the Little Blue Herons.  You can
