Earlier this year, SE PIF bought a couple thousand extra copies of the
poster "Migratory Landbirds of the Southeast: Valuable and Vulnerable" to
sell to folks/agencies/orgs who were not able to get their order in for the
recent reprint job.  BTW, we printed and distributed in over a dozen states
almost 90,000 of these posters in 1998 and another ~25,000 in 2004 - they
are a great outreach tool anywhere in the Southeast U.S., Caribbean, and
beyond.  

 

I am storing those over-runs here in Austin and would like to again offer
that they are for sale - the money earned will simply reimburse the SE PIF
account.  The posters come flat in a box of 100 for $50 a box plus shipping.


 

Now here is the fall sale -- for a limited time I will completely waive the
shipping fees!  If you're interested or know someone who is, please contact
me privately ASAP via email <clifford.shackelford@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>.  For
those who have not seen this poster, I can mail one sample poster per
address to serious inquiries only.  I have ~15 boxes for sale (thus ~1,500
posters).  Again, they are only available in multiples of 100 so a minimum
order is $50. 

 

Some folks have used these posters as a fund-raising item or have at least
charged the face value at outreach events to recover their costs.  Keep that
in mind if you lack cash AND outreach material at your next function!
Please help us get the word out about birds in your area.
