The threat of hurricane force wind and rain Friday offered a dismal forecast 
for the KOS meeting.  The storms passed and we had a picture perfect weekend 
for birding and hawk watching. 
Brian Wheeler's program was excellent.  I doubt anyone left the room without 
learning something new about hawks.  The hawk watch was successful with over 
700 Broad-winged hawks offering two days of excellent study.
Thanks to all who attended and a special thanks to the Bristol Bird Club for 
helping us sponsor Brian Wheeler's visit.
