There have been some migrants through this week (plus other regulars),
and most of them have been in the BIG OLD PINE TREE which is in our
front yard: MAGNOLIA WARBLER, AM REDSTART, YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER,
BLACK AND WHITE WARBLER, SUMMER TANAGER, RT HUMMINGBIRD, BR THRASHER,
WILLOW FLYCATCHER (70% sure), PILEATED WP, RED-BELLIED WP, DOWNY WP, WB
NUTHATCH, RE VIREO, CEDAR WAXWING (50+), GREAT BLUE HERON, GREEN HERON,
WOOD DUCK, AM GOLDFINCH, HOUSE FINCH, N FLICKER, SPOTTED SANDPIPER,
EASTERN PHOEBE, BARRED OWL, ETC.
The FLYCATCHER which I saw had an orange mandible and slight wing bars,
but I couldn't get a good look at the eyes and heard no song.
Cheers, Joan Carr
